- GOLDEN ROCK PLANTATION INN
Five minutes stroll up the hill through the garden gate is the charming Golden Rock Plantation Inn.. It is open to our guests for breakfast, lunch or dinner or just a rum punch at the bar. Our residents may also swim in their wonderful spring-fed pool with far reaching views to Antigua. A very popular hike up the mountain is to the Source starting at Golden Rock.

- RESTAURANTS
There is a wide choice of restaurants all within 20 minutes of Treetops. The Hermitage is only 10 minutes by car whilst  Bananas is no more than 15 minutes. Nisbett and Mount Nevis are 15/20 minutes. In town there is the newly opened Riviera on Government Road. There are good beach restaurants on the Caribbean side- Double Deuce near Pinney’s Hotel,  on Pinney’s Beach  Chevvy’s, Limes and Sunshine.
Also on the Caribbean side – Coconut Grove, Yachtsmans Grill and Chrissie Beach.

 The Peak Haven ( with truly astonishing views)  is only 10 minutes away by car or a 40 minute hike. ( Turn right up the mountain by Gingerland Police Station.) The chef Llewellyn cooks good food.

BEACHES
Nowhere on the island is far away. Windward and Indian Castle Beaches are just 10 minutes away by car whilst Pinney’s Beach (on the Caribbean side) is 15 – 20 minutes. Good Caribbean swimming at Double Deuce, Coconut Grove, and Yachtsman’s Grill.
The botanical gardens are 2 miles away.

- SPORT
Tennis at the Four Seasons. Clay and hard courts available for hire ( even though the hotel is closed.) - $35 USD an hour.. Cold drink/ towels provided free. Floodlighting. Courts set in beautiful gardens.

Public courts with flood lighting available free both in town and in Gingerland.( 5 minutes from Treetops) . The .Gingerland court was built in last few years..

Golf  Green Fee $ USD100 ( includes buggy.)  Four Seasons magnificent course  Golf clubs can be hired

Surfing  - Excellent surfing on Windward beach ( Boogy boards at house)
Kite Surfing – Herbet Beach
Snorkelling – Indian castle/ Oualie ( equipment at house)

Deep Sea Fishing – Mahi mahi, snapper, wahoo, Spanish mackerel. Boats can be chartered from Oualie Beach

Hiking – Endless opportunities for hiking. Nevis is remarkable for its diversity of terrain. The Peak, the Source, Windward Beach, many trails to plantation ruins such as to Montravers (opposite the track to Pinney’s Beach.)

Racing –  Occasional meetings at Indian Castle racecourse

SUPERMARKETS
If you do not wish to go as far as the market in Charleston ( 15 minutes) , there is a well stocked supermarket ( Best Buy) in Gingerland  just 5 minutes by car.
